At first sight, I did not recognize you. It was dark, rainy, and gray. Maybe if you had worn your hat, it would have been easier.

Sometimes I wish I could have a filter on my vision, only showing me the good things. The things I am looking for. But my view blurs everything important out and only lets room for the mundane.

You shouted my name, Lioh. I didn’t hear it at first. I was surprised, maybe even a bit scared. Did I miss anything? I had just gone out to buy a pack of cigarettes. How much I hated this shit.

Hi, you said, How are you. I am fine, and you, I replied. The man behind the counter wanted to cash in. I did not even have the time to start a real conversation. Was there someone by your side? I don't remember.

I went on, in the rain, thinking about you.
